pros:
standard usb 2/3 connector + usb c connector.
very versatile
READ SPEED
OS installs from this drive are wicked fast
small: i have this attached to a lanyard and it is very small and light. great addition to my bag of tools
accurate specifications: read/write is dead on as advertised. i used this in a heavy read environment and it works GREAT. i wish more companies truthfully advertised a device's capabilities. i know where to NOT use the drive.
future proof and legacy happy: usb C will likely dominate all future devices. small and fast.
cons:
WRITE SPEED: good grief, it is exactly as advertised. SLOW. i have generic usb 2 drives with better write speeds. kudos for accurate specifications and no stars docked. see above
don't use this for lots of writes.
i pull the usb C cover everytime i remove the drive. once inserted into a standard usb 2/3 port, it is nearly impossible to remove without pulling the cover for the usb c port. seems pretty sturdy, but i have to push it back down after i pull it out. i tried removing the cover, but there is even less material to grab from the usb c port alone.
other:
i have 2 already. i will buy more as needed for boot disks and other heavy read conditions. this drive has no peer for OS installs at this price. 100+mb/s reads for such a cheap price.
I am sitting here at 1:11 am, listening to Space Oddity by David Bowie on repeat, and contemplating my life. Coincidentally I am also writing a review for the 32GB Data Traveler Micro Duo 3C, a product whose existence I am still unsure of even to this very moment. Now you will have to understand… I have never written an amazon review; not even once for all of my many purchases over the years. So please forgive me if it is not perfect.
For you to truly understand, I will have to start from the beginning…
I placed an order for a few items. Earbuds, carrying cases for various electronics, and a couple other items. One of those items being the Data traveler. My same day shipment arrived at 7:00 pm, just as I had gotten off of work; a very nice delivery man handed it to me from the trunk of his car. And then off I went to open my package. I opened everything else first, saving my Data Traveler for last. When it came time, I used my scissors to carefully cut off the top of the package and slide the tiny Data Traveler out into my hand. This had proved to be my first mistake, as I was still yet unaware of the Data Traveler’s “Traveling Capabilities.” Because as I turned this nice little piece of tech in my hands and began to unveil it’s USB C connector, it fell from my hands onto the floor and subsequently into what I can only assume is another dimension.
In the hours following this, I would turn the room upside down looking for this little traveler. I searched in places it had no right being. In my desperation I even moved furniture. I found things that I thought I had gotten rid of years ago. Like a 3000 piece Lego Box, old clothes, and a CROSSBOW. But the traveler had somehow still eluded me. This is when the doubt set in…
Because if it were not for the package still sitting on my desk, I would be hard pressed to prove it even existed at all. Hell, if you told me that I had not ordered it I might even believe you. The moment I held it in my hand was so fleeting, it was as if I had found a tiny star, but just the act of laying my eyes upon it caused it to blink from existence...
Honestly, I am unsure of where to go from here… I fear that ordering another will just result in another traveler jumping the bounds of our reality. So instead, I think I will just thank you Kingston for creating such a wonderful piece of technology. It has truly changed me. Because for the rest of my life there will always be a part of me that wonders where it went and what corners of the universe that it has traveled to.

3 laptops. Kingston is a trusted name in storage and flash memory and makes reliable products.
The speed of data transfer is blazing fast. It's got a lanyard.. just in case u need it while traveling :-)
I wish it had cover for both sides to protect from dust in extreme cases .. but I am just nitpicking here :-)
Go for it :-)
Pros:
• Small – easy portability
• High capacity
• Dual connectors – USB-A and USB-C
• Reasonable cost
Cons:
• Small – easily lost
• Advertised as "fast" but if you read carefully the write speed spec is 15 MB/sec. It was actually slightly faster - about 18 MB/sec.
• Came formatted FAT32. I had to reformat it as exFAT to write a 80GB file to it.
• The plastic flip-cover over the USB-C connector looks flimsy and may get in the way in tight quarters. It’s probably easily removed, and I’m not sure why it’s there since there is none on the USB-A connector.
These are very inexpensive, very reliable, and, as other reviewers have mentioned, very *honest*. The write performance is not great, but they don't try to lie to you about it. But for the price they're unbeatable, and they work equally well with USB-C on my MacBook and USB-A 3 on my desktop PC. They are VERY small which can be both good and bad: they're easy to store, but also easy to lose.
My only real complaint is that there's no good way to label them. They're so small that there's no real place to put a label, and since the cover is clear it's not easy to write on either. For the first two, I used a black marker to mark the inside of the plastic so I can tell the difference, but I really have no idea what I'm going to do for the next 2.

Es muy pequeña, la puedes llevar a donde sea, adentro del empaque viene un pequeño y corto hilo que puedes amarrar en la memoria y usarlo en un llavero. La recomiendo

Velocissimo.
Unica piccola "pecca", il cappuccio in plastica, molto pratico, copre solo la porta C, pensavo fosse "ribaltabile".
I read that writing speeds are so so, and that's what I mostly use it for, backup, but for my private usage, it's fast enough, ease and portability is more important than super speed.
And it's so tiny I had to make a "string" for it to be easier to find..!
Overall I'm happy with my purchase (only should have bought more storage, but that's how it is in modern life..)!

El que disponga de conexión usb estándar facilita mucho el introducir archivos sin tener que depender de un adaptador.
Se calienta un poco con el uso, pero otras memorias usb compactas que he tenido hacían lo mismo y, tras años de uso, aún funcionan.
