I have only used these once for traveling by air. I bagged them just in case they leaked, but they did great. I used one for hair gel and one for lotion, no leaks and easy to fill. I carried them on the plane and checked them in my luggage and no problems. They hold a lot of product, I almost wish I could get them in half the size. I was gone for a week and used maybe a third. As for the pumping, you have to pump until the bottom has pushed the product all the way to the top before it will dispense. I haven't tried cleaning them out or refilling yet, so can't comment on that yet.

I have to admit, when I first received in the mail, I thought I was missing a part...because I assumed there should be a 'straw' to pump on the inside of the bottle. But the bottles worked perfect for my travel toiletries. My face wash is a gel-like substance that comes in a large pump-bottle, so this size was perfect to travel with.

It worked fine for a few months but then it stopped working. I bought a larger version of this product a year ago but just started using it an after a COUPLE of months one of my bottles was halfway done and doesn't pump up anymore. I tried cleaning it in case something was stuck in the airhole and it didn't help. I made the mistake of buying the travel size ones (for this review) as well a few months ago before I saw that these stopped working and came under the same problem...very disappointed because it had great reviews and my product is now trapped in there

Some reviewers have complained about them not working and I took tht into consideration. They need to be full in order to work properly.
They work on the first pump, but subsequent pumps are unreliable. I also think they are too expensive for what you get. Ingave these 3 stars because they travel well, they don't leak and they look great.

These airless pumps are terrible. Yes, they are easy to fill, and yes, they are airless, but that's about it. I attempted to fill these with my foundation and, once filled and pumped to where the foundation was, whenever I attempted to use the pump, either 1.) nothing would come out or 2.) the contents were pumped out so fast they splattered everywhere. I wound up with foundation on my clothes! I don't care how cheap these are, I would not rebuy these and I would never recommend them to anyone. Look elsewhere for better bottles!
