Immense value for the price. I remember when the first versions of, “Wi-Fi,” extenders came out, they did practically nothing.
That is not the case with this product. The TP-LINK 315 Range Extender uses trademarked technology OneMesh technology. Simply put, using a OneMesh capable router, adding this will extend the signal using the router as its center of Internet Access.
This results in improved internet speeds on the mid-far end of your house. I’m convinced that every network needs one no matter the size but dependent on where the router is placed. Also if you have anything more than 100 mbs. They have an okay-ish application that provide real-time data of your speeds but based on my experience: as long as it’s not a busy time of the day for my ISPs traffic the improvement of the connection is noticeably improved at the physical edges of your wireless network.
