I would give this ZERO stars if I could! The reason it exists is supposed to be to help users avoid the 100+ types of tracking by both keeping the Opt-out for sites and yet when the app tried to install thankfully my Blackberry warned me that the app wanted FAR more personal information from me than the web trackers it was supposed to protect me from! This app wanted the ability to run in the background even when when I wasn't using internet. It also wanted exact GPS location, the unique ID for my cell and my phone number, to know when I was on the phone, to be able to examine the external storage in my SD card and more besides! So even if the app blocked any tracking the makers of this app would have more information about me down to always knowing where I am, whether I'm on the phone and more. I never allow apps to have access to any of the things this app wants, so why on earth should I start now?

Frankly I was disgusted at the sleazy example where they pretend to be doing something good for the user but actually are trying to put something over on them. I had high hopes since on my PC the Alliance has a tool that lets you put opt out cookies for most (NOT all) of the 100+ alliance companies. Better than nothing, but this pitiful excuse of a rip-off is far WORSE THAN USELESS!
