Lisa Yee
Biography

After writing jingles, Red Lobster menus, and Disney TV shows, Lisa Yee’s debut novel, Millicent Min, Girl Genius, won the prestigious Sid Fleischman Humor Award.

Her 22 novels for young readers include Stanford Wong Flunks Big-Time, Bobby vs. Girls (Accidentally), and several American Girl books, the DC Super Hero High series.

Maizy Chen's Last Chance has been awarded a Newbery Honor, is a National Book Award Finalist, and is the winner of the Asian/Pacific American Award for Literature. Lisa is a contributor to NPR's Books We Love, and her latest novel, The Misfits #1: A Royal Conundrum, is a New York Times Bestseller.
