the mics work good with the headsets but the lapel mics have to be right in your face to pick up well enough. Using these for work presentations in front of 60 people so we wanted the lapel mics for hands-free and casual look. Some of the executives don't care for the headset versions so they end up holding the lapel mics in their hands. That defeats the puropose.
