The Singtrix item I bought was a gift, it worked as intended for a couple years, so it was beyond the manufacturer warranty, and then it started getting staticky sounding. I sent it to Assurion for repair under their warranty. When it was sent back to us, it was not fixed. It was actually in worse condition with additional damage. I was upset when I contacted assurion. They instructed me to send it back. They agreed with my assessment that it was beyond repair and made the situation right by issuing me an Amazon gift card for the price paid for the Singtrix device. Each repair cycle took several weeks and communication, but in the end it was worth the effort and assurion corrected their mistake.
