They sent me a prepaid label to send product back. As soon as they saw that the package was in the UPS system they e-mailed a gift card to cover original cost.

I purchased an inexpensive digital keyboard from Amazon. It worked great for my requirements even though it was a very low-end product. However, my granddaughter accidently bumped my coffee cup and it spilled all over the supposedly waterproof cover I also purchased just for this possibility. The coffee soaked right through the cover and into the keyboard. I immediately unplugged the keyboard and attempted to clean everything, using isopropyl alcohol and low-power, low-heat air blower. (I worked for 20 years in the computer/electronic industry) After a period of blow-drying and then allowing the keyboard to stand with good air-flow for a few hours, I tried to use it. All the keys worked except for the E above middle C. I tried several times to re-clean it, and it worked intermittently just after cleaning, but then after an hour or so it stopped working completely again. After several more attempts, I gave up. The keyboard was basically useless without that key right in the middle of the keyboard. So I contacted Asurion, not knowing if this accident would be covered by my warranty or not. They immediately validated my claim and issued me an Amazon gift card in the amount of the purchase price of the keyboard. I am extremely pleased with their service and the speed at which they resolved my issue.

This was the first time I used the insurance, I was expecting to have the product to be fixed or replaced, but none of this happened, instead they reimburse me for the cost of the product and cancel my 4 years coverage after shortly completed the first year and no reimbursement for the unused remaining years, that's the only thing I was unhappy, everything else was great.

It has always been an easy one whenever Asurian Protection had to process a claim.

In the past , I had a product insured by a different insurance company. The product had an issue and it took some 20 calls and with prejudice it was then they made a refund. With Asurian, it's so simple.
