Because there is no bulge in the blade where the handle connects, it is easy to keep food from building up on it. The rounded corner of the blade works great for use in bowls. The straight side has a right-angle design and is perfect for the straight sides of my food processor. This spatula has become one of the most used utensils in my kitchen. I love it!

I had heard that D’oro had the best made utensils. That’s absolutely correct. The size is perfect for scrambling eggs, mixing a cake to flipping a roast. I’ve used this one for more than a year and it works as well now as when I first used it. There are no signs of melting due to high heat. It’s just a really good spatula. The material used to make this product makes cleaning a breeze. Just stick it in the dishwasher after use or really you can easily run it under the faucet with a quick wipe.
Since this purchase, I’ve bought several for family members. They fit great in a Christmas stocking! I’ve also bought a few other D’oro utensils and they are just as good as this one. This company makes quality products and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy more for myself and others.

And then after receiving a replacement we received an email asking if we had received it, and then a few weeks later another email asking if we were happy with it. And there was a real, live person on the other end of the email who was very concerned that we were happy with their product. This is well made and feels like it will last a long time. I have used it in sauces with turmeric and so far I am not seeing discoloration issues. The length is good and it works well for stirring, the only place it falls a little short on is scraping bowls, I think it is the shape of the “blade” (not sure if that’s the technical term for it) it is not rounded enough for a bowl shape. For cooking pots with straight edges it works very well.

The color I got is a little lighter than what is pictured, more of a light lavender, but it is still a pretty color.

Overall I would say this is a good buy that will last and work for a variety of things, just not as great for bowls.

I bought this and another blue color spoon type at the same time because I couldn’t decide. They are both great. The spatulas are sturdy and of the right size and shape and flexibility. The other color is a bright cornflower blue and it’s so so pretty and I love it so much. This seems like a great spatula and it’s a very pretty aqua color. I like the other color better, but that’s subjective! I bet all the colors are pretty, so buy whatever color you like and you will get a great spatula!!
