Had my first one for 15 years. This one is so comfy but fit is off. Said Cal King but size is off by a few inches here and there,. I'm too old to fuss with returning it so I just have to live with it. It is also much softer then the first one as the last one was a lot firmer so this one probably won't last as long. The first one was from Costco and was easy and great this one is the same manufacturer but I guest doesn't have the same quality control. However, at my age I just can't keep packing up huge things and returning them so I have to live with it.

I usually get a new topper every 3-5 years. The foam weight figures companies tout are quite often fake numbers. This one is a legit 3 pound, comfortable, visco memory foam. Unpacked it, was inflated within the hour. No smell at all.

I got a used one at 60% off regular price. $48 instead of $130 and the used topper may as well have been new. Its awesome and the 2 inch height is not an issue. I was slightly concerned since the last 2 I bought were 3", 3.7 lb density, buy cost $200.

Even at $130, its a very good topper. Sleeps wonderful. Had a hard time getting the dogs off tonight.

After laying on the floor over 35hrs mattress topper never expanded in all areas. Edges are particularly bad. Like they are glued together. Chunck of topper missing on bottom of mattress edge. Three inch seperation (tear) of mattress material on right center. Stuffing it back in 'original box' I found a tag indicating the topper had been in the box over 18 months. Maybe that explains, in part, why our experience was so much different from more favorable comments. Extremely disappointed with quality. Would not recommend.

Let me start this by saying that we have a 100% latex mattress by VeraWang. It is extremely comfortable as-is, but I wanted to see what a topper would add. When we got the topper, I put it on, and decided to try it out for 1 week. I hated it! I had back pains & it was too soft. After 1 week, I took it off, but I disliked the bed without it even more. I was waking up with lower back pains and just a felt the bed was way too hard now. I was supposed to stay 1 week without the topper, but I couldn't wait to have it back. I put it back on after only 1 night.... and now it feels like heaven.

Okay, I have a relatively new (1 year) very very firm California King mattress and box spring. After over a year of looking for the right mattress set, firm but with a pillow top for comfort, and being appalled at the prices, I decided to go with this extra firm mattress, no attached pillow top, and add my own foam topper. That way I could customize the padding on the mattress. Our Costco "seasonal" topper (two layers, gel and memory foam) worked well for a while, but still wasn't just right. I added this Sleep Innovations topper on top of the Costco one and now the bed is perfect! It's a personal preference, but I think there is more support with the memory foam rather than the gel. I bought the thinnest mattress cover on Amazon that I could find, not wanting too many layers between the foam and the sheet, and not wanting to constrict the foam, and now the bed is just perfect. This topper added a luxurious "marshmallow" feel to the bed, while the firm mattress provides the support we need.

The topper is heavy, as it should be, and I had to be very careful cutting off the material it was wrapped in to prevent cutting into the foam. The rolled foam kind of stuck to itself so I carefully peeled it apart on the bed and rolled it out. No odor at all, and after probably 15 minutes at most, it had become perfectly flat. It fits the California King fine - maybe an inch smaller than the mattress all around. I'm so glad I bought this!
