I have not been one to give reviews, but I do appreciate those who will give an honest review. True fully the few reviews I have given have been negative, but these knives deserve a good review.
We originally got one knife as a gift, we loved it so we found them on Amazon and bought a set of them. Then wanted a full 8 so bought another set. In all we have bought 6 sets, so we can give them to others as gifts.
They are very reasonably priced, right now they are on sales for $27 dollars list price $57 $30 dollar savings is pretty good. They are sharp and have stayed sharp for years. Good size and weight. They are my go to knife!
I have been using them for over 5 years. I use them a lot. I really didn’t think they needed another review because they are 4.5 stars with about 3,000 reviews, but here’s to being positive and another drop in the bucket of reviews.

About us
In 1884, Karl Elsener opened his cutler’s workshop in Ibach-Schwyz. At this time Switzerland was still one of the poorer countries in Europe. In the early years Karl Elsener worked to combat poverty and unemployment in the Schwyz basin, creating jobs and helping stem the flow of emigration.
In 1891 he supplied the soldier’s knife to the Swiss Army for the first time. He went on to develop the Swiss Officer’s and Sports Knife – now the iconic Swiss Army Knife – in 1897, creating the foundation for a flourishing company that would be able to hold its own on the world stage.
From then on, his spirit of solidarity, deep roots in the region and strong commitment to solid values shaped the Victorinox company philosophy.
Today, Victorinox is a global company with five product categories: Swiss Army Knives, Household and Professional Knives, Watches, Travel Gear and Fragrances. The Swiss Army Knife is the core product and has a pioneering role in the development of all product categories.

Cheap but works
They came in a nice box and individually wrapped. I was surprised I would be able to get Victorinox knives at such a low price. However, the blades are low quality along with the plastic handle. Their Swiss Army knives (I’ve had one for almost 30 years) are much superior quality compared to these.Verdict, they are knives I need on a temporary basis that I won’t be handing down to my kids so for the price I say I got good money for the value. They cut through lamb and steak fairly well.
