Very disappointing. This pan was never flat--it's raised in the middle, so grease/butter always end up in a ring around the edge. It also didn't last 6 months before the non-stick coating started to peel. It's never been in the dishwasher--we've only ever hand-washed it. I'd be annoyed if this was a cheapo $20 pan, but I'm furious that a $200 pan can be this bad. We had a similarly priced Scanpan nonstick previously and it "only" lasted a few years--we hoped this would be as good or better, but it's far worse.

All-Clad products scream quality. In case you don’t know the difference between D3, D5 and copper core… the D3 heats up fast with only 3 layers, which is excellent for quick searing. It does t not mean it has less quality. It’s cheaper because it has less layers, therefore cheaper to produce. The D5 has 5 layers, still excellent quality and good for those who are more novice cooks. The copper core is quick and easier to control temperature of the pots/pans. Truly, top of the line.

All that said, I LOVE the 8” pan. Excellent for omelettes, quick searing small cuts of meat, sautéing and more.

Albeit it pricey, these pans out perform other brands I’ve tried.

I've tried lots of nonstick fry pans - even some other All-Clad ones. This is the only one that I've found where the bottom doesn't warp when used often with high heat.

Of course, if you leave it unattended for 20 minutes with high heat turned on (like my wife did) then the nonstick surface decayed.

But with regular reasonable use, this is the best fry pan I've used.

I’m a bit of a fan of All-Clad Cookware. I was initially considering various other non-stick alternatives, but a certain YT short demonstrated the effectiveness of this in comparison to another competitive pan.

I seasoned the pan thrice with olive oil before using, baking at 350°F for 20 minutes and then letting it cool for another 20 minutes. This should maximize the non-stick behavior.

Then I did a classic egg test - sunny-side-up and over-easy. The eggs could literally slide around with a tilt of the pan! This, of course, made it really easy to recenter the egg over heat or slide it to the side to be flipped with a bamboo spatula.

Even though the pan is rated for up to ~500°F, I won’t need to use it for anything higher than 350°F. For higher temps, I would consider a different all-clad or lodge skillet. (Take care of your pans and they’ll take care of you for a very long time!)

This brand of pan has always been great. However, saying that this is a 10" pan is misleading. Lids from other 10" pans are not wide enough for this pan. They fit in pan about halfway down the pan's side - not on the top.

We had this pan for a long time and it did work well for a while. However, as expected the nonstick started to suffer and it started to flake a bit. We reached out to all-clad hoping to take advantage of the "lifetime" warranty and of course they told us that we used the pan at too high a heat so they cannot replace the pan since it's our fault. We were careful to follow the instructions for use and stayed within the recommended use instructions. We did not ever put it in a dishwasher, or anything like that. I bought the pan in 2021, so it did last almost 3 years before we had to reach out but it wasn't really better than any other nonstick pan. Definitely not worth the money, and I would not recommend buying this product for brand support.

I ordered this pan specifically for the larger diameter. The flame ring on my gas Dacor is large and I was looking for better heat distribution. Judging on that, the non stick, quality and price I would give it 5 stars. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was the handle. Just a little hard to grip and balance. The pan can tip and easily get away from you especially if you one hand it. All-Clad is a great product and I would recommend.

Die Pfanne liegt sehr gut in der Hand, hat etwas gewicht und eine sehr gute gleichmäßige Wärmeverteilung.

Meine größe mit 25.4 cm ist in Ordnung aber oft auch einfach zu klein, also sollte man evtl über die größere nachdenken.

Also es ist eine sehr gute Pfanne von höchster Qualität an der ich dann auch hoffentlich einige Jahre freude haben werde.

Der Preis ist allerdings auch entsprechend hoch, und ob man in der eigenen Küche zu anderen hochwertigen Pfannen für weniger Geld wirklich einen Unterschied feststellen kann muss jeder für sich entscheiden!

Alles in allem eine gute Profi Pfanne von Höchster Qualität zu einem entsprechenden Preis.

I've had this pan for over 2 months now and it is excellent. It is much lighter than I expected, but distributes heat really well. The handle is not the most comfortable shape, but I can live with it. I was reluctant to spend this much on one pan, but I was so frustrated with cheaper pans that lose their nonstick properties quickly and then just turn things into a frustrating mess. This pan really has been easy to use and seems permanently nonstick, which makes the price worth it for me.
