Purchased this to attach a zoom v3 vocal effect unit to a mic stand. I found it a bit confusing to install because it seems, at first, that the assembled unit won’t support the weight of the V3. The ball-sockets flop all over and it doesn’t seem possible this thing could work. Then I discovered the secret : the big main knob must be tightened and only when that happens … the whole unit locks up nice and tight (zero flop).

Now I’m very happy ! Zoom should include instructions
