Used correctly, the solidified oil forms a solid waxy puck that can be lifted out whole (after hardening generally I briefly heat the pan/pot to melt a thin skin layer before removing, to ease the lift-out). Used correctly means 1) adding the product - 1 pkg per 300-400 mL oil- while the oil’s still hot, or 2) adding it to cooled oil then reheating to melt/dissolve all the product flakes. 3) Tilt, swirl, or stir to mix. Easy! 4) After cooling, I hit the pan with high heat for a few moments to melt a thin skin layer, then use a silicone spatula to slip in between the pan and the skin-loosened puck. For thick oil levels, you can leave a spatula in the oil while it’s hardening as a convenient lift-out handle. Then dispose, wipe out, and wash to clean up.
