You are an Inquisitor, the Imperium's most powerful agent. Ensure the Emperor's will is respected in the far-flung corners of the dark universe of Warhammer 40,000 and uncover the secrets of the fortress-monastery, Martyr. Conduct your investigation on a large number of planets in the Caligari sector and take on hordes of enemies on a variety of terrain. Launch yourself into combat with brutal and tactical assaults: use the cover system, destructible environments, controllable towers, and vehicles to your advantage. In this action-RPG, choose from amongst several character classes and take part in tactical and violent combat, in solo or co-op mode. I love this game and have spent hundreds of hours playing it. I’d prefer playing offline without the requirement of internet, but oh well. The gameplay is smooth, graphics are great, and love that spinning sword move! The view from top down is just like Diablo. But I’m looking forward to the 1st/2nd person shooter Warhammer game that’s coming out!

When I got the game, after coming home from a grueling day at work, after installing it on my PS5 and getting to the title screen I found out that I had to create a Neocore account in order to play the bloody game even on single player. I can deal with having an active Playstation Plus subscription to use the multiplayer functions in Demon's Souls/Dark Souls/Bloodborne/Elden Ring but the prior was a bridge too far. Thus, I'm returning the game.

What you have here is a nearly complete Action-RPG in the style of Diablo 3/4 in the Warhammer 40k universe. The only thing it's lacking is the Sororitas Class DLC which will cost ya $15 USD. It's a good game otherwise

tried this game on a lark and loved it. Voice acting and Warhammer lore are first rate. The story is remarkably interesting and absorbing for any WH fans. Played it free on Ps4 and am buying the Ps5 version..its like Diablo 3 in the WH universe...I found a Heavy Flamer which I loved for the AOE effects and kept it through the whole game. The game has a couple of flaws: the skill trees are awkward to navigate, and the game doesnt really tell you how to use everything, but these are minor quibbles. Oh and I experienced NONE of the issues some other folks did Its a Blast!

They don’t ruin the game though.
But the Inoculator (healing gadget) bug does.
As the mission starts, the game will randomly change your Inoculator.
Not fun to find out you just started a one-time boss battle and you can’t heal yourself.
