Simulated testing, learned that indeed the buzzer is triggered at threshold levels. Two very short soft beeps can be heard.

Seitdem habe ich das Gerät in meinem Gärkeller und es zeigt plausible Werte an. Jedoch habe ich es mal in den Gärschrank kurz hineingelegt und es waren in kurzer Zeit auch wieder die 5000 erreicht. Jedoch macht mein Gerät keinen Ton, dass obwohl der Modus aktiviert ist. Keine Ahnung ob mein Gerät kaputt ist oder der Lautsprecher gar nicht eingebaut ist.

I turned it on and just like expected we had a very high co2 reading. Over 2600 ppm
I was sceptical so I put it in an open widow and it dropped to low 400
Now we have installed a new ventilation unit and we’re good and actually feel better

This monitor gives you pretty accurate insights into how healthy the air is in your home or specific rooms. The crazy thing is that the CO2 level can change over a short period of time and you wouldn’t notice it, unlike a temperature change. Fortunately, this monitor even has an alarm when the CO2 level reaches unhealthy levels.
You get a nice 55cm x 65cm LED display that’s easy to read and understand showing you the CO2 level, temperature, and relative humidity. I like that there’s a color bar that runs under the CO2 level and the indicator level arrow moves between the green (good), yellow (average), and red (unhealthy) segments in addition to the numeric display that shows you the CO2 level in ppm.
It was interesting or a little alarming that the CO2 level was in the yellow when I started working in my office and with the door closed and I watched it slowly climb towards the red! Yikes! In about 15 minutes after opening the office door, it came back to the mid-yellow area.
There are 2 vents, one on either side that monitor the air quality. You can select the Auto mode which will sample the air every minute or the Eco mode which will sample the air every 10 minutes (and will prolong the battery life… up to 70 days). Charging it is done via USB-C and it still works while charging.
It has a nice design feature with a magnetic back so you can attach it to any metal surface plus you get a little stand with a metal plate so the monitor snaps to it and can be placed on your desk/bedside table and with it being so compact, it’s easy to move from room to room for testing. I think it would have been nice to have the option to hang it too.
I think this CO2 monitor is an essential device to keep your home air safe and healthy and I would definitely recommend it for your family’s well-being.
