Toothpaste is Great, Mouthwash Not So Much
This SmartMouth kit is a nearly complete oral care set - it is just missing the floss! You get toothpaste, mouthwash, & dry mouth lozenges with this purchase. The toothpaste, which is sodium monofluorophosphate based, foams up well and tastes just fine. I gave the dry mouth lozenges to my dad who regularly uses a similarly branded product - he has had no complaints! My issue comes in with the mouthwash, however. It is MESSY and does not function as intended. This mouthwash has two dispensers at the top. You are supposed to pour the mouthwash into the provided cup, where the two liquids combine, activating the “Smart-Zinc.” The problem is that the blue side of my mouthwash hardly pours out at all. I also have the problem of it catching at the bottom of the dispenser and spilling everywhere. Every time that I have attempted to use this mouthwash, I have not been able to mix it and have gotten it all over the counter. For me, the mouthwash is, unfortunately, a fail, but everything else is great.

Since this is described as a "kit" I thought it might be travel size, but the toothpaste and the mouthwash are standard size, which is a good thing.
The mouthwash, which was the main reason I ordered it, has two separate sections in one container, and theoretically, when you pour it into the little provided cup, the two liquids pour out and then mix together for use. Sounds great, but I found that for some reason one side pours out much more liquid than the other side. I ended up sticking a coat-hanger in the one that was clogged up to help clear the opening, but it still seems to pour less liquid out than the other side.
By trying to "even up" the two liquids, I end up pouring out much more than I need. This is not something you really want to be hassling with when you just want to do your oral hygiene routine and go to bed or start your day.
On top of that, the mouthwash also tastes bad. It does seem to be effective in combating bad breath, but I'm not sure it's worth it considering the problem I encountered with pouring it to get the right mix and the taste.
I do like the toothpaste, it's mild yet seems to do a good job in cleaning your teeth without being abrasive.
Oddly, my favorite thing is the mints. They are handy to have after a meal or coffee and they are very effective in freshening your breath. They come in a convenient, resealable pouch.
Overall, not really all that bad of "kit" but I don't think I will be ordering it again. It might be worth it for some, but it's just not for me.

I had already tried the mouth wash before and it seemed to work well so I was excited to try the trio set. The mints do taste funny but that’s bc of the zinc xylitol. I feel like it would work well for ppl who experience dry mouth for medication side effect. The toothpaste is my favorite. It works great. And the mouthwash takes some getting used to bc you have to make sure you pour evenly to get the right amount of each side. You do experience a deep clean that feels good.
