Feels like the 1980's studio mindset applies to this outstanding series - "If we make it they will buy it." Don't care if its easy to use or not.Pros:Schitt's Creek is outstanding comedy with great cast . There is the ongoing controversy over the town sign. So many other twists and turns.Cons:The reviews on this compilation called out a couple of things The Lionsgate folks could have done a much better job pretty much all around.1. Disc 1 out of the box locked up my DVD player. Unplugged and then restart. Two or three times before it finally played.But it did.2. Couple of reviews stated discs was PAL format not NTSC. The version I received was NTSC,3. Region 1 labelled on Discs. Works on my Region 1 DVD player.4. Subtitles do not work on my Region 1 DVD player. The menu item displays subtitles menu line item, but they do not display. Cover clearly states "cc" just not enabled on DVD players.Had a similar version from local library and subtitles did not work either.5. However, tried Disc 1 on my Windows PC using VLC media player and voila' SUBTITLES. Go figure.My favorite series. If you have the patience to deal with the pretty lousy way Lionsgate put this compilation together, then get it. If you don't then I would pass.

This is one of my favorite programs of all time... lots of heart, soul and humor.
I was a little disappointed in the case it came in.. disc all over the place.. stacked on top of each other which causes the ones on top to come free of the holder and rattle around in the box. None were scratched.. but I'll probably take the discs out and put them in protective sleeves.

I love Schitt’s Creek and am glad to have a physical copy to watch. My only nitpick is with the packaging of the discs — which isn’t a big deal. Lots of complete series box sets come packaged the same way: to save space, discs are stacked on top of each other.

I’m not the biggest fan of this, because it makes it annoying to look through DVDs to get to a specific one or find the next one. I ended up buying a separate small DVD binder to hold the DVDs, which solved this problem for me. You might want to consider doing the same thing if you’re buying on Amazon anyway!

Schitt's Creek ist ausgezeichnet geschrieben und exzellent gespielt. Alles an dieser Serie schreit förmlich vor Sorgfalt und Hingabe und Talent. Man braucht ein bisschen Durchhaltevermögen für die 1. Staffel, weil die Roses da noch sehr in ihren "alten" Rollen stecken und der Humor noch nicht 100 % Fuß gefasst hat, aber sie dabei zu beobachten, wie sie lernen, dass es Liebe und nicht Geld ist, worum es eigentlich geht, ist einfach hinreißend und dabei noch irre komisch. Staffel 4 und 5 sind wohl das Beste, was ich seit langer Zeit gesehen habe. Gute Comedy hat immer auch die zu Herzen gehendsten Szenen - das gilt auch hier. 5 Sterne, unbedingt sehenswert. Leider nur 6 Staffeln, glücklicherweise nur 6 Staffeln, weil absolut rund. Vielleicht gibt es mal einen Film?

Im Sinne der Vollständigkeit sollte ich vielleicht auch erwähnen, dass auch meine DVDs in einer kaputten Verpackung ankamen. Das ist tatsächlich Mist, die Serie aber zu gut, um alles wieder zurückzuschicken. Die DVDs selbst sind in Ordnung.
