PROS: They have great range, nice clear sound and easy to mix. They pick up a singer's full tone, intonation, and even pick up all their inflections and bring out a lot of depth. They're very durable, reliable, and versatile. If a Shure and an EV had a baby, it'd be these microphones lol, but for a fraction of the price. I love that these mics are not plastic and feel well balanced. The anti roll guards are great for hosting karaoke.
CONS: I've worked with these mics in the past when they were plastic and my only issue with them was they burned through batteries pretty fast. If you didn't take out one of the batteries after each use, it was like they drew power anyway and batteries would be dead the next use. I kept the practice of taking one battery out after each use with these to be safe. I'll update my review after I do an experiment to see if the problem has been resolved.
I'm also pretty sure the other older models displayed battery life on the mic and receiver. I don't believe these do, wish that was still a thing.
Otherwise, I would totally recommend these mics to everyone. As I mentioned earlier, they're versatile so any voice will sound good on these bad boys.
MINI SNAKE: works well, happy with it and love the bundle with the mics, was a money saver for sure!
Happy singing, folks!
