While the product itself works to loosen plaque, it also stains if you happen to spill it on something. The stain is a little darker than in this picture. I sprayed it with oxy sprayand washed in cold water but it did not all come out.

Parodontax Clear (no color) was recommended by our dental hygenist. Oddly, Clear is about 75% higher price than the Blue or Green, so we bought a bottle of Blue and a bottle of Clear to give them a try. The Blue clings to the tongue and leaves the tongue very noticeably and objectionably blue. We mixed Blue and Clear 50/50 and the blue is barely noticeable on the tongue.
