I love this mic stand! I have been using the same mic stand for the last 20 years and it finally had enough of my abuse. I bit the bullet and bought this stand. I love it!!!!! It's great for live performances. At first, it's a little hard to figure out because there are so many screws that adjust so many different heights and setups. But, once you get it set to how you want to use it on stage, it's so cool. The tablet holder is the best bonus. I didn't think I'd like it at first, but it will adjust to any way you want it set up. Once you have it set for how you like it on stage, the breakdown is super easy. You just turn one screw to release to legs and push it up, that's it. then it goes into the pile of other stands that are being packed up. Easy setup, easy breakdown. So much better than my old stand. I have an 11 inch tablet with my lyrics and chords that I attach to it. Way, way cool. It is stable, and it doesn't slide. We do 4 sets of music and the tablet and mic stays in place. No sagging or drooping. I have a bad habit of grabbing the mic and pulling it up or down depending on whether I'm just singing, or singing and playing guitar. It moves just the way I want it to without having to unscrew it. I can be right in the middle of a song and adjust the mic head without getting off my place to unscrew it and reset it. Yes, I abuse my mic stand, but this stand seems like it can take it. I have beat the crap out of my old stand, and I should have bought a new one sooner. I really love this stand! The only very small down side is that when you are attaching you tablet, if you're not careful, you'll pinch the web of your hand, so you have to watch the way you handle the tablet holder. It is super strong, and it will bite you if you're not careful. Great mic stand great tablet holder!!!

I really liked the adjustability and options. The stand was steady enough with the boom extended.
I did find the goose neck a little stiff, but that wasn't a big problem. The build was typical China with a lot of plastic parts and that's where the problem is.

I found that the boom was a little wobbly, but I did tighten it down enough to make it ok. The problem was that a plastic part of the fastener broke which caused the boom to droop. Also, the boom was not thick enough to hold my pick holder.

Overall, a great idea, that falls short on execution. If the build quality was better it would be a winner.

Because this came in many sections, I took a gamble that one of the sections would fit. BINGO, it did. There are so many ways you can configure the stand, what was surprising was the quality, strength, and flexibility these stands have. All Excellent. Even the Phone holder is large enough to hold an IPAD. I will buy another soon.
