I remember when I only had to take a small amount of this and could barely hold it in for a minute before my mouth felt like fire. It was a good feeling for the most part and lasted a couple hours into the day. It had that subtle medicine aftertaste that was what Listerine was known for. Well, I'm sad to say those days are gone. Although this does leave my mouth feeling clean, it doesn't have that subtle medicine flavor nor does it have any heat to it. This might be the original flavor but it's not the traditional "peel layers of skin from my mouth" feeling. All you Listerine lovers out there know what I'm talking about. I want my mouthwash to feel like it's napalming the bacteria inside of my mouth. I want my mouthwash to tempt me into seeing how long I can keep swishing before it becomes too unbearable. It takes a special type of person to aspire such things from an oral healthcare product and I got none of that from this product. It arrived factory sealed so I don't know what's going on at the factory. To me, it seems a little watered down. If they came out with a diet Listerine than this would be it.

Some might say it feels harsh in their mouth but I love the feeling after I've brushed my teeth, it clears away bacteria and leaves my mouth feeling fresh and clean.
