Batteries work great!
These batteries work fine for what I needed. But then… you’d expect new batteries to work fine. I bought these because of the claimed battery life of 10 years in storage. Reading the “NOTICE” included with the batteries: “The year printed on the back of the packaging is the manufacturing year and not the expiration year. Expiration date is 10 years from manufacture date for lithium batteries…” Looking at the back of the package, there appear to be two dates: “PD0222” and “ED0230”. I’m guessing that the ”PD” date is the production date, and “ED” is the expiration date? If that’s the case, then the storage life of the batteries is eight years, not ten. No other date on the back of the packaging seemed to apply. See photo of the package back to see what I’m referring to. This also would mean that the batteries were more than a year old by the time I received them in April 2023.The battery packaging is different from what is pictured. Not a big deal, but just a comment. The batteries did come attached to a nice “Thank You” note.Overall, I would rate this as four stars and would recommend this to a friend. I would have given a perfect five-star rating had the expiration date been easier to determine, and had the batteries not been more than a year old when I received them.I hope you find this information helpful.
