The Diary of a CEO: The 33 Laws of Business and Life Kindle Edition

A galvanizing playbook for success from Steven Bartlett, one of the world’s most exciting entrepreneurs and the host of the No. 1 podcast The Diary of a CEO

"This is a must-read for anyone dreaming of doing something audacious."
Jay Shetty

"Valuable lessons about the importance of following a different and unconventional path to power.”
Robert Greene

At the very heart of all the success and failure I've been exposed to - both my own entrepreneurial journey and through the thousands of interviews I’ve conducted on my chart-topping podcast - are a set of principles that ensure excellence.

These fundamental laws underpinned my meteoric rise, and they will fuel yours too, whether you want to build something great or become someone great. The laws are rooted in psychology and behavioral science, in my own experiences, and those of the world's most successful entrepreneurs, entertainers, artists, writers, and athletes, who I’ve interviewed on my podcast.

These laws will stand the test of time and will help anyone master their life and unleash their potential, no matter the field.

They are the secret sauce to success.

I am a young person who constantly faced challenges at work, and I just quit my job to give sometime for myself to find out my purpose of living and my Ikigai (it’s pretty exciting that I happened to see Steven was also reading the book about this concept in his recent Vlog).Back to the book review, since I am based in Vietnam, I couldn’t bear waiting for the hardcopy delivery. Thus, I ordered the Kindle version in order to be able to read it immediately when it’s published. I’m a fan of the show and of Steven himself for his commitment of delivering good quality work. The book gave me a lot of insights in various aspect - just like Steven shared in the Telegram channel that this book are for those specific people and I’m one of them (almost everyone 😂). It's not just a book; it's a roadmap for personal growth and professional success. If you're in search of actionable advice and a fresh perspective on life and work, this book deserves a spot on your reading list. ⭐️Highly Recommended⭐️Thanks Steven for all of you and the team’s effort, for making everything happen, for the continuous growth and sharing. My IG: @anny17494

I read this book before being introduced to the podcast and I think that gives me a bit of an unbiased perspective. The book was well written and organized with tons of great information. As an entrepreneur myself, I found a lot of the points to be fascinating and informative. I did disagree with one point Stephen dedicated an entire chapter to, regarding his view on how people do not choose their own beliefs. While this may be true in many cases involving individuals that are unaware of how they’ve come to believe in certain things, I disagree. In my experience, once an individual begins to question the source of their own beliefs, the mind shifts and changes can be made after breaking your beliefs down to understand whether or not you chose them, or they were instilled in you by others.
Aside from that, I think this book is a must for many beginner and even seasoned entrepreneurs.

A decent book written by a 30 year old millennial on leadership. I was born in 1993 and can tell that his viewpoint is very millennial. There are definitely some good points made. He has obviously seen success with his social media marketing company and his podcast. It really taught me that it doesn’t take much to be a successful CEO, just somebody who picks a field and keeps on going.

A neatly researched book that offers insights on life and business, enriched by the author’s experience. He is among the world’s best in marketing and branding, and this can be appreciated throughout the narrative, in his comments, and especially in the presentation of law 33 at the book’s end. This book is an easy read, filled with great ideas. While these are not his original concepts, as Seneca wrote n his letters, "The things of greatest merit are common property."

Steven has distilled a lot of the key lesson’s he’s learned from his own journey and from the interviews he has conducted for his podcast. I highly recommend reading this book and will soon be sharing some of the key concepts within on my page as well.

I love how this book cuts the unnecessary extra pages to make a book look more interesting. It’s straight to the point in every point Steven is making. What I absolutely loved the most about this book is that he gives so MANY fun and exciting real life facts of the point he’s making! I learned so much from different people and companies from just this single book and I love how straightforward it’s written. Will definitely be a book I continuously come back too and gift multiple times!

Congratulations to Steven and his team, it’s an extraordinary book for any entrepreneur or person looking to become a more interesting or intelectual person.
