    Product works as designed. You have to go into the Aqara app if you add extensions and manually adjust the strip length there, then immediately it recognizes the extensions and works as it's supposed to. Too bad it can't automatically recognize when extensions are added.

    I like the lights. I think they work great with the Aqara App and hubs. I think the light strip is on the expensive side. The quality is there. The brightness is there. The colors are there. I just think the Govee lights come it at a cheaper price and they would work with my Google Home app. If the light strip is a repeater or has some other feature that I am missing, that would be great to know. I had to buy 3 light extensions for my pantry application so that made it even more expensive. I should have considered a slightly different application like a place it could be seen more often than just occasionally opening and closing the pantry door.

    Aqara products may be inexpensive, but they are great quality and work all the time. I bought the base package and one extension for accent lighting around our master bedroom headboard. This thing is awesome! It is integrated into Apple HomeKit and works with the Aqara door contact for lighting when we enter the bedroom after dark. I just cannot recommend Aqara products enough. They have been more reliable than products twice or three time their price.

    Works well with Home Assistant + Z2M. The strip looks great, the colors are vibrant, and can get pretty bright.
    Got this to replace an older led strip that would frequently not report it's current state properly (strip would be on but would report as off in HA). So far this has been working great.
    Unfortunately, using it with HA+z2m and not the Aqara hub/app does seem to limit some of its customizability.

    The solder joints at the connectors are so bad that the main unit wouldn't pass on to the extension. It looks like they overheated the pads on the strip and debonded them. I have a Bachelor's in EE and thankfully have the knowhow and gear to just resolder and only lose a foot off each of the units and extensions to get them working. Never am I buying another Aqara anything.

    It works with HomeKit. The colour range is somewhat subjective as fine tuning seems pretty hit or miss but basically I haven’t found one that wasn’t. The music to lights works but limited… I might need to play more with it. It does have a lot of functions and fine tuning so probably will discover more. I bought a second one for Christmas so I like them. The preprogrammed lights are interesting but pretty basic. I have seen better.
