What is very nice is that the clearance between your hand, while holding it, with no chance of hitting your fingers on the cutting surface.

To be truthful, and I am not affiliated , paid, or provided reimbursement for this review -- the quality was absolutely shocking. I have owned expensive and cheap kitchen knives and the fit, finish and overall quality was WAY above the price of this item.

It's not light, but not heavy either. It balances very nice and plows through anything you need to cut effortlessly.

The reviews of knives all want a full tang which this has. Sturdy rivets. Non round handle to avoid slipping. Good Steel. High Carbon, but not so much it is brittle. So many of the high end knives can't be used for everyday cutting since this would chip the edge. The fancy unsymmetrical angle of sharping also means it can be difficult of left handed use. This knife is balance at the front bolster where the index finger holds the knife. It is heavy for good cutting and not so heavy as to be manuverable. It arrives pretty sharp and seems hard to sharpen, but then it is hard to dull. It is important to have everyday chores become easy, even fun and this helps in preparing and cooking meals. I will know more once I have used and learned to sharpen it well.

This knife has the right features, a functional forged bolster and rounded pommel on a triple rivet tang.

All that is more I could ask for (at a slightly higher still fair price) is a wood handle with replaceable screw/Chicago bolt rivets and to be able to get outdoors knives built like this.

I hope the durability will be as good as it looks.

No soy chef pero a partir de la pandemia practicamente me hice cargo de la cocina, este cuchillo supera por mucho a todos los que tengo tiene muy buen acero y viene muy afilado, cuando se requiere con 3 pasadas con la piedra y queda muy buen afilado.
