I was playing this with my nephew as a gift and It genuinely is the best story game ive ever played, only a few hours in however the story telling is picturesque, it brings you back to like a dragon and shows the characters development. If this was a series it would be so good!!!! Very happy with my purchase

Really enjoyed this game it has many different aspects to it, side missions, games (like claw machines, poker mahjong etc) the storyline is good with some lengthy cutscenes, the turn based fighting works well and the sujimon battles I found very amusing.

Just discovered the “Like a Dragon” series of games and this game is so well designed it is a masterpiece. People often use the Witcher 3 as the benchmark (which I played until the end and love) but the story telling, characters and variety of game play in this game is way beyond that. Don’t be put off by the turn based combat or the reference to japanese culture. You won’t regret playing these games. Play Yakuza: Like a Dragon first as this one follows on from that. Both are masterpieces.

If you're a fan of this series, the game will definitely not disappoint. Even if you're new to the series, the gameplay is going to blow your socks off (if you can get past not knowing anything about these characters of the plot to begin with).

What IS disappointing is that SEGA made the greedy decision to lock New Game+ behind the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions - so you will have to fork out for it as DLC down the line if you buy this Standard Edition.
Buyer be warned.

I jumped into the series at Like a Dragon and now really want to play the rest of the games in this series.

The setting of this game is amazing, great to explore this version of Hawaii and fight the enemy’s with the classic turn based combat old school rpg fans will love. With an engrossing storyline this is well worth a play.

In regard to the game, it’s brilliant but reviews for the game can be found on any website. It’s a spinoff from yakuza and it’s just as good and fun as the others. Outrageously fun and a good laugh.

In regard to this listing - I can’t fault it. Everything was sealed in brand new condition. Packaged and delivered very quickly and my partner is very happy with it. The price was average for what I expected considering how new the game was at the time but this is a good thing as I feel like I didn’t overpay which is a bonus!

Not enough Majima

My only complaint is that there is not enough Majima. If you’ve played any other Yakuza games, you know what you’re expecting. If you haven’t, this isn’t really the best place to start. I’m still impressed they’ve put animal crossing in here.
