Faithful Remake

To start the graphics are amazing, really gives it perfect anime look.
Gamplay has been impoved great, has many additional features that are closer to the latest persona games.
Every Social link level and main storyline has full voice acting.
Game has many other quality of life improvements that speed up any tiresome elements of rpgs in general.

Played on gamepass and enjoyed it, played more and realised the huge grind of this tartare sauce tower which is so tedious its unreel.

Sold after only a few hrs play through

Too much dialog
Can skip combat and almostl everything, my sdvice watch a youtube playthrough of the story

I've been playing persona 3 on and off since the PS2. It's been given the persona 5 treatment, and made quite a bit easier so turn the difficulty up if you're a returning player.
The extra story beats are nice, the animations are slick and flashy, shuffle time has been downgraded a bit by removing the actual shuffle. All in all though,a great remake.

So I bought this as a fan of Persona who started with Persona 3 Portable on the PSP and naturally when I heard that there was a remake I just had to try it. The gameplay is amazing, the visuals are gorgeous and naturally I highly recommend this to old and new fans of the Persona franchise

As a fan of the og I was wary going in but it is faithful to the original and adds quality of life changes seen in persona 5. The soundtrack is a step above the original and the presentation is stylish.

The gameplay is on point and anyone whose played the older version will soon get into the rhythm of dungeon crawling and social aspects. Apart from the areas looking better it remains the same and that’s not a bad thing.

The atmosphere is among the best of the persona games and still stands up as a great game, Recommended.

Persona 5 was my first entry into the series, and since then I have been hooked. I have been wanting to try other games from the franchise, and when this remake was announced, I was psyched.
It is an incredibly fun game that stays true to the formula that makes Persona games so special. Whilst there is a bit too much downtime between bosses, you form really deep emotional connections with your friends and make you want to help or support them even more as you progress further into the game.
Overall this is a game I would thoroughly recommend if you like games with a deep story, turn-based combat and a true RPG experience.

Graphics are updated from previous version and there's new music, however some updates such as U.I made to look like 5 but are lacking in polish, animations in social links aren't as great as the main story.

This was my first persona game and loved it. The world felt well built and I really enjoyed the characters (koromaru is adorable) recommend this highly. Warning only play if you have an insane amount of free time on your hands as you are looking at about 70 hours of gameplay.

This is one of my favourite games I’ve ever played. I didn’t play the other version previously. But this is very much like Persona 5 Royal. I’m currently on my 4th playthrough - twice on each console. I absolutely love the story. I cried many times at the sad parts, and laughed out loud at the fun parts.
I’ve never really been into JRPG games before, I’m glad I played this one. I’ve sunk well over 100 hours in the game.
It feels like it’s been a long time since I played a game that had me so emotionally invested.
