Amelia has been a vital part of the 98 Rock family since 2003, making her the longest-serving on-air personality at the station, including her part-time position for the year in 1998.
She currently hosts 98 Rock’s mid-day show weekdays between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. She also hosts the public affairs program Maryland Perspectives online and on-air Sundays at 530 a.m., which highlights nonprofits.
Inspired by her childhood heroes, Sarah Fleischer and Robbin Quivers, Amelia’s love for radio was nurtured through her frequent listening to 98 Rock, DC 101, and WHFS growing up in Laurel, MD.
Amelia’s airwave journey began at her college radio station in New Mexico, where she honed her skills for a year or two before graduating. Post-graduation, she worked her way up through smaller stations across the country, steadily moving to larger markets.
