WP is telling me to update from a new to old version

    My dashboard says I have “Current version: 6.4.5” and is saying I need to update to 6.4.4 and “You can update from WordPress 6.4.5 to WordPress 6.4.4 manually”.

    a) Why ‘update’ to an older version?!
    b) 6.4.4 isn’t even a released version.

    Why/how is it doing this? I’m hosted on Bluehost.

    Please contact and check Bluehost support resources or contact their support team to see if there are any ongoing issues related with WordPress. Because hosting manager has the right to check everything with your WordPress installation.
