Just been notified by an editor of our site that it is no longer accepting updates.
Disabling antispam bee removes the issue – and I see it has been updated recently.
    We are using Kadence (free)

Looks like it might be a conflict with the recently updated RealCookie Banner

    Hi @allayn17

    thanks for letting us know!

I was at WordCamp Europe, so I had no time to look at it. Does it happen with the free version of Real Cookie Banner or with the paid product?

I can try to reproduce it with the free version. But if it only happens with the paid version, you need to ask their support.

@allayn17 Could you solve the problem? If no, please report back with more details. Thank you!

I did reply, but it seems to to have been saved.

We are using the free version of Real Cookie Banner.

Disabling it or your Antispam Bee bypasses the problem.

That’s how we’ve left things ( with Real Cookie Banner disabled).

    Hi @allayn17

I just tried to reproduce the issue. WordPress 6.5.5, Kadence (free) active and Real Cookie Banner (free) and ASB active. No issue. Plugin updates are shown and working.

What do you mean *exactly* if you write “is no longer accepting updates”? No plugin updates shown? Or error while trying to update? If yes, which error message?

Are you using the latest version of everything? Sometimes an old WP version or an old PHP version could prevent using the latest version available.

Or there is another bug which is preventing the correct execution of everything afterward. Could you please check your error logs:
    https://developer.wordpress.org/advanced-administration/debug/debug-wordpress/

Maybe there is an error. You could also check the browser console for errors and the network tab for issues.

Query Monitor is also helpful to look for issues:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/query-monitor/

Thanks for any more detail, so we can fix it (or help others to fix it).

    All the best

    Thanks Torsten.
We were on WordPress 6.5.4 so I updated to 6.5.5, reActivated Real Cookie Banner and the problem has gone away!!
When it wasn’t working we didn’t get any error messages to the screen – it just wouldn’t save changes to Pages. All the Plugins we use were on their latest versions.

I will try (in a day or so as bit busy…) to see if I can track down any error logs.

    Thanks you for your support.
