Hi plugin devs, @jamescollins and @glenn-om4

Wordfence is now flagging this plugin as “appears to be abandoned”. It would be great if you could push out an update.

The Plugin "Custom Post Type Editor" appears to be abandoned (updated 4 September 2020, tested to WP 5.5.11).

    Hi @photomaldives,

    Thanks for the message.

As far as I’m aware, our plugin works fine with the latest WordPress versions, so we haven’t had a reason to update it.

Is it working as expected for you?

    Wow, that was quick !

Sure, it’s working well, but I’m thinking of uptake going forward.

    (1) the WF flag does not look good on client sites, and
    (2) the WP alert means many people will sadly over-look this plugin for a different one.

    Hi @photomaldives,

I’m pleased to say that we have just released version 1.5 of this plugin, which is tested with the latest WordPress versions and also adds some new functionality.

    All the best,

    James
