When product is removed from cart, other product options disappear

Hi, we’re experiencing a weird issue with this plugin. On our site, we’re offering meal options for a specific day. So on Tuesday, you can choose chicken or steak. When someone makes their selection, they go to the cart page to checkout, and it shows the option as steak or whatever they chose which is great. The issue is, if they delete any other item from the cart, for some reason the selected option that was just displaying for the other items in the cart also disappear randomly. I’m not sure why removing an unrelated item would also remove the option from every other item. Any advice?
