    Hello,

    When I try to update my WordPress to 6.3-RC3 Version in my Local Machine it shows this error

    Warning: An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums. (WordPress could not establish a secure connection to WordPress.org. Please contact your server administrator.) in C:\laragon\www\wordpress\wp-includes\update.php on line 449

    Hey @shiponkarmakar – thanks for the report. Just to clarify – you were having trouble actually running the update to RC3 with the Beta Tester plugin installed.

    Can I ask if you try again now, if the problem persists?

    Your post has been marked resolved.

    Once the alpha version of WordPress is released, or more than a month has gone by without response, we “resolve” posts as a bit of a sanity check. It lets mods and volunteers know we don’t have to jump in and find an issue.
