User Account Managers Plugin or other options

I am working with a website with a membership plugin and BuddyPress. This is a social website for people with disabilities to find other local people with the same interest. The problem is sometimes people need help filing out profiles or answering messages. We would like to assign account managers to help these people out without making them admins or giving them access to the full users list. We are looking for a way for Account Managers to have one login but still be able to help the people assigned to them. If it means making a role for each account manager that is fine. I can’t find a way to assign the managers to set user accounts as the account manager. Any advice or help to point me in the right direction would be hugely helpful.
