• Recently, for all of my wordpress website I have, if I turn off a setting with a toggle switch or button (or any similar settings currently off) for plugins. Settings that are checkboxes, radio buttons, or dropdowns are not affected.

I have gone through all common troubleshooting steps such as disabling all plugins and activating them individually, switching back to a default theme, clearing the cache, and checking user permissions.

    While Activated
    After Deactivating

I have been unable to find a way to activate the settings that have been deactivated. Any help will be appreciated.

  • What plugin (or theme) are these settings and toggle switches coming from? The screenshots you provided do not come natively with WordPress.

The plugins are a variety of them across multiple wordpress sites. I currently manage 8 sites and I have this issue on all of them. The plugings include:

    • Essential Addons for Elementor
    • SiteGround Optimizer
    • Rank Math SEO
    • Premium Addons for Elementor
    • SiteGround Security

Those are just the plugins I have checked that have toggle buttons like above. The Plugin pictured above is Essential Addons for Elementor.

    Hi @kosnathaniel

It seems like some temporary glitch, contact the plugin’s author they will assist you better on this.
