I have a site in swedish. The staging site does not work with the swedish letters åäö. When I load the checkout page the address gets longer and longer each time the checkout page is loaded and it is filled with garbage. `NÃÆâ€
I also see odd behaviour when saving data in plugins. If the data being saved contains the letters åäö the data will not be saved.
All of this happens on the staging site only. On the original site all works as expected with the letters åäö.
The letters are also not displayed correctly all over the site.

    Hi @alijens

I had never heard about such an issue before.

    – Did you create the staging site in the same database or in another with a different language collation?

    – Did you create the staging site in a subfolder, or did you use the pro version and create one in a subdomain?

    – Please disable wp staging on the staging site and try again.

    – What is the name of your staging site, does it contain any of these language characters?

Please send me wp staging > tools > system information to https://wp-staging.com/support/

I use the free version of the plugin.
The staging site database I believe is the same as the original site.
The site is created in a subfolder.
I have tried disabling WP staging on the staging site, but the letters are still displayed incorrectly.
The site where I use it is aveo.se and the stagingsite is located at aveo.se/aveodev
I have sent you the system info file.

Check the database character set defined in the staging sites wp-config.php file.
