Thanks for your positive feedback and for your question. MLA donations were directed to our fair trade nonprofit organization. When we had to shut down the nonprofit, I decided that the small number and amounts of donations I’d received were not worth the trouble of setting up a system to continue processing them.
Regarding Phoenix Media Rename, I downloaded and activated a copy on my test system. It looks like your request is to add the “Filename” column to the Media/Assistant submenu table; is that right? If so, I can investigate the amount of work required to do that. As you suspected, MLA provides several hooks that should help, but Phoenix Media Rename also adds some JavaScript code to process the name changes.
I will post an update here when I have progress to report. Let me know if there are other requirements I have missed. Thanks for your interest in MLA.

Yes! But take it as a suggestion, not a request 🙂
Thank you very much for listening
🙂
Thanks for confirming my understanding and for your flexibility in awaiting progress. I have developed a solution for your request as a new “example plugin” you can use to add support for the “Filename” column to your site.
I have uploaded a new MLA Development Version dated 20190816 that contains the new example plugin. You can find step-by-step instructions for using the Development Version in this earlier topic:
PHP Warning on media upload with Polylang
Once the Development Version is installed you must install and activate the example plugin. Navigate to the Settings/Media library Assistant Documentation tab and click the “Example Plugins” button. Type “phoenix” in the text box and click “Search Plugins” to filter the table.
You are looking for the “MLA Phoenix Media Rename Example” plugin. Find that plugin and hover over the title in the left-most column. Click the “Install” (or “Update”) rollover action, then go to the WordPress Plugins/Installed Plugins submenu and verify or activate the example plugin as you would any other plugin.
It would be great if you can install the Development Version and the new example plugin and let me know if they work for you. Thanks again for giving me an interesting opportunity to enhance MLA.
I have released MLA version 2.80, which includes the updates required for this topic.
I am leaving the topic resolved, but please update it if you are still having trouble after updating to the newest MLA version. Thank you.
Wow David! Thank you a lot for the effort! I’m sure a LOT of people will benefit from that.
Of course I will install and use it.
If you don’t hear me back it’s beacause it just works 🙂
Thank you again
