    Hi @rvscc,

We’re really sorry to hear that our admin notice asking for review bothered you. Our intention is to gather constructive feedback so we can improve Spectra and make your WordPress experience as smooth as possible.

We understand that it can be frustrating when you have multiple admin notices from various plugins you use. To prevent this notice from appearing, you can add the following filter to your functions.php file:

    add_filter( ‘transient_uagb-admin-rating’, ‘__return_true’ );

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. Your feedback is valuable, and we aim to make Spectra better for everyone.

I would also suggest that you make it so that when the notice is dismissed it is permanently dismissed! That’s a much better UX for users. You shouldn’t need a code snippet to make that happen.

And all should be placed on the plugin page self.
Don’t make promotion on my whole admin, shouting around about al kind of not interesting info.
It’s not professional, it makes my admin look like a circus.

Keep the notices for real warning notices.

    Hi @rvscc and @helgatheviking

My name is Mehedi, and I’m the Product Manager here at Spectra.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate all your input and strive to address the concerns raised.

You’re right, clicking the close icon should completely hide the admin notice. Usually, it does as we developed it, but sometimes things like website cache can cause it to reappear.

If that happens to you, our support team is here to help figure out why and fix it for good. They’re the best option to get this resolved quickly.

In case you can’t reach support for some reason, Mohsin has already shared a filter code that can also hide the notice. Think of this as a backup plan since support is usually the best way to go.

Thanks again for your feedback – it really helps us improve Spectra. We’d love for you to reach out to support if you have time so we can investigate why the notice came back and prevent it from happening to you and others.

    Best,
    Mehedi Hasan

    Thank you for the explanation.

The case is that we need to manage all plugin notifications in multiple websites.
This is not the way it should be.
All my admins look like an advertisment page, i need to filter out the important notifications.
Its not professional for the WordPress look and Feel, clients are complaining.

The notification should only be used for important messages.
Keep all you marketing etc on my site on your Spectra page(s).

There are other options to get reviews and upsells.
Just reach a good marketer who understand UX, and fix these pain points.
