    Hi,
I was wandering if there is an option to enable a sticky Ad widget. I can’t find it in AdControl so I have used Q2W3 Fixed Widget https://nl.wordpress.org/plugins/q2w3-fixed-widget/ plugin, however it also doesn’t seem to work with AdControl. So I finally just did inspect the code of the WordAd from a non-sticky AdControl widget, copied the element and pasted it in a text widget which does work with Q2W3 Fixed Widget. So now I have a WordAds sticky widget. However I am not sure if this is allowed to do or not. Could you pls. clarify? Is it allowed to copy code WordAds elements and place it somewhere else on the site? Thanks in advance!

    Howdy @egoman,
A “sticky” widget isn’t something we currently support, though we’ll take it into consideration for future releases.

Otherwise, there’s no problem with copying the output of our widget into the other widget as long as your WordAds account is in good standing. Just keep in mind that if your account loses good standing the widget might not function as intended and you’ll receive no credit for any ads shown.

Thank you for your quick reply, and excuse me for asking this unrelated question, but I am new to WordAds and I cannot find my standings. Where can I see in what standing my account is? There is also pretty much no settings options only earnings amount and that’s it. No Analytics of earnings, no way of seeing what standing there is or customize anything. Also WordAds has next to no documentation and info on their site. Hope you can help me out.

    Thanks!

Earnings reports come out up to a month after the current month has ended. We’re currently working on an update to give a real-time estimate of monthly earnings, but in the mean time if you opened your account in July you should expect to see your first earnings update in August.

There are a handful of earnings in the Settings->AdControl page, but we’ve intentionally left the options sparse, our POV is that ads are too complicated and we want to have a simple turn-key option to get ads on your website.

Okay so if i understand it correctly, there is no way I can know if I’m in good standing or not unless my earnings stop at some point after a month? I get your point of making it easy to use. But sometime too little options results in confusion and less customization options. For example a landscape type of banner would fit the design of my website better, but I cannot chose such an option. Anyway thank you for the advice, and good luck on further developing AdControl. I think there is a lot of potential especially since AdSense is so strict with accepting or rejecting these days.

We will generally inform you if your account is no longer in good standing. Don’t purchase fake traffic and don’t run NSFW content and you should have no problem.
