This was asked before https://wordpress.org/support/topic/remove-unsubscribe-link-requirement/ but not answered.

How can I remove the unsubscribe link from the emails being sent? There ought to be an option for this, but surely there is a code snippet that would work, yes?

Shouldn’t really matter but I’m using this for an HOA website to to send important notifications of upcoming meetings to members. We’re using our own SMTP server and these aren’t marketing emails so they don’t require users be able to unsubscribe. If users did accidentally unsubscribe we’d actually get in trouble for failing to notify them of upcoming board meetings.

    Hi @jb510,

If you’re referring to emails sent from the MailPoet plugin, it’s possible to remove the Unsubscribe link from the email editor if you’re sending your emails with a 3rd-party sending method.

If you can confirm you have selected “Other” in the MailPoet > Settings > Send With… tab, you can be able to edit your newsletter and remove the Unsubscribe link there.

Have you tried doing this? Do you see any error messages when trying to send a newsletter without the Unsubscribe link?

    Hi @jb510,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
