• Any help would be GREATLY appreciated… I’ve spent a few hours on this.

I received an email from WordPress this morning that stated:

‘WordPress has a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, ZillaLikes.’

WordPress sent me a recovery mode link, but I get the ‘404: Not Found Recovery Mode not initialized’ message. Also, when I try to login via the normal dashboard process I also get an error message.

As I can’t log into any of my sites that uses this plugin, I have logged in via FTP and deleted the Zillalikes plugin folder. However, my websites are still down and I can’t log in.

    This is painful 😣

    Any ideas anyone?

  • Login via FTP and rename the whole folder wp-content/plugins to wp-content/plugins.old

The try and login if you can all plugins will be deactivated.

Then move plugins.old to plugins and go to your plugins page all plugins will be listed as deactivated

Re activate plugins 1 by 1.

If after renamingplugins to plugins.old you still cant’t log in then something else rather than plugins is causing the issue.
