Because there may be thousands of plugins that must have been translated by temporary users, who stayed in WordPress for a while and then left…
I would like to have a system set up that will synchronize all the information and tell the translation editors and the WordPress communities everywhere that there are plugins/themes/WordPress/ and more X -X -X that have not been translated!
Too bad this information is being lost!
No translation editor knows about translations that have been made.
I would be happy to develop/discuss the issue.

What you’re looking for is https://translate.wordpress.org 🙂

For example: https://translate.wordpress.org/locale/fr/default/wp-plugins/

That is optional though. Plugin and theme developers can participate by following the steps at https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/handbook/plugin-theme-authors-guide/

How do I find the information there which plugins someone in the world has translated into my language? And they were not approved through a translation editor?

1. Click your language at https://translate.wordpress.org
2. Click the “Plugins” tab under that language.
3. You’ll see every plugin listed there with a “Progress” percentage for your language.
4. You can use the drop-down menu near the top-right to show only “100% translations.”

But it is not possible to translate according to the percentage of those waiting only!

To participate, just pick a plugin to contribute to (one that is not 100%), and follow this guide: https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/handbook/translating/how-to-translate/

I know how to contribute, but I’m sure there are people who contributed and didn’t announce it in Slack, so it’s important to me to have an automatic system that will bring information about the plugin associations that have been translated but not approved by an editor yet.
And whoever wants to will become an editor and translate.

Being in the WordPress Slack has been pretty much a requirement for any serious WordPress contributor for the past few years.

But it is possible that there are some that have not been reported?
Is it so complicated to create such a filter that will scan and bring this data?

I assume because one of the volunteers who builds WordPress hasn’t built an automated system yet, but to be honest, I wouldn’t be too interested in translations contributed by anyone who can’t follow the posted instructions, and the same goes for any aspect of WordPress really.
