Opayo payments not working with checkout

    I’ve been playing with the new checkout block, and it’s infinitely better than the existing template. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to recognise Woocommerce Opayo payments on our test site (with testing mode set on the Opayo Direct method). It looks like this is one of the enabled payment suites so I’m a little confused. Do I have to do something to enable it? Does it fail in testing mode?

    Hi @rustymonkeyltd 👋

    Opayo is one of the supported Payment Gateways for the Checkout Block, so it is odd that it isn’t loading.

    In order for us to get a better idea of your site’s setup, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.  Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    My recommendation would be that you update Opayo to the latest version which is v5.6.4 (you currently have v5.5.3). Once that is done, could you please check if the issue still persists?

    Howdy there.

    It looks like Opayo actually does not support the Cart and Checkout Blocks and the docs are incorrect.

    I will be looking into getting the docs updated.

    You may want to reach out to the creator of the extension and request that they add support. You can reference this post we published for payment method extension developers.

    Ok, well I’ve raised a case as it’s an official Woocommerce plugin, so hopefully I can feedback that way.

    I suspect we’ll end up using a different payment provider instead but we’ll see.
