My Calendar Event Background Changed Unexpectedly

    I was tinkering with the category settings in My Calendar, specifically, I wanted a single category to have red text on a white background. Now, most of the background colors in the grid view are black, but not all of them. Some backgrounds are white. None of these colors are what I intended, but I can’t revert to the original appearance of different colored backgrounds for each category. It seems I broke something in the plugin.

    The black backgrounds are because you have the category settings for colors set to “Title text color”, which causes the backgrounds to auto-toggle to whatever will provide acceptable color contrast with your chosen text color. Yellow text would not be visible against a white background, so those use black.

    You can switch that to the ‘Title background color’ option, instead, so that your chosen color will be the background color, instead.
