    Hi,

I see a third party plugin which never gets updated and only like 115 instals.
    Then I see a GIST https://gist.github.com/strangerstudios/8806443

But there is not much guidance.

For some of us this is a deal breaker, as we make a website accessible to everyone in many locations. I wanted USD as default but also Euro, Australian Dollars. Are you able to help

@jarryd-long I see you helped making that. Given its status, could we add its code instead to our child theme or code snieppet

Hi there, thank you for reaching out to Paid Memberships Pro.

The plugin you shared is built off of the exact same code recipe, the only difference is that it has a user interface.

If you’re not comfortable with implementing the original code recipe yourself, then I’d recommend making use of the plugin. It hasn’t been updated in a while but it doesn’t necessarily need any fixes or work done on it.

The general idea of this functionality is that you create an ‘Annual Membership – USD’, Annual Membership – EUR’ and Annual Membership – GBP’. You can specify the currency code for each of them and then point your member that wants to pay in GBP to the respective level and so on.

    Thank you for reaching out.

Well its not maintained, so wanted to avoid unnecessary risk.

Would you be able to assist with creating the recipe so it affects all relevant pages. I do not mean to do it yourself but guidance on what needs to be changed. I want to have dollars, euros, australian dollars.

and this the recipe looks straight forward, how come its not implemented as art of the plugin, this is something that would be beneficial to many users

This recipe (https://gist.github.com/strangerstudios/8806443) will help get you started – you can add in the levels and the currencies that they should be charged in, in the array on line 19

From there, you would need to create a landing page or pricing tables or similar to reference each level and it’s respective pricing model.

For further assistance around changing the currency on pages like the invoice page, in emails, discount codes etc, would require a more hands on custom development approach.

If you are not comfortable with doing this yourself, we recommend positing a project on jobs.wordpress.net for further assistance.

Thank you for your feedback. Feel free to start a new topic if you have any other questions and we’d be happy to assist.

Hi there, sorry for barging in here.

Just a note that there was a new version released of https://wordpress.org/plugins/pmpro-multiple-currencies/

The fact that it didn’t look maintained in the past was just because there were no reported bugs.

In the new version we added some more locations for the currency filter, and hope to work with PMPro core to be able to add even more locations in the future.

    Kind regards
