    Hi

I use BuddyBoss and was able to connect a new bb-profile-field “Website” with the user-meta “user_url”, which is working very well, same with “description”.

But when I try to connect “email” and “phone”, it’s not possible, because these fields are not available in the dropdown inside the “Sync to WordPress user field” widget when editing a bb-profile-field.

I also would like to add “twitter” and “linkedin”, but first things first.

Are these fields not supported by your plugin?

Thank you in advance and kind regards,
    Sascha

    Hi,
That’s because BP2WP full sync currently only supports WordPress default fields and phone, twitter and linekdin are not a default fields. About the email it’s a special WordPress Field, if you change it, e.g., you should reactivate the account. I can perform a debug btw.

    Hey Sergio,

thank you, I appreciate the speed of your reply 🙏

I understand, that custom-fields (even if stored in the default-user-meta-table) can not be synced with the bb-profile-fields easily.

I would love to create those custom-fields with the fabulous metabox-plugin, because it’s very easy and will store the cf in the default wp_usermeta table.

Is there any chance, that you can support this per updating your plugin? Alternatively, could you provide a code-snippet, that would enable me to deploy such a “mapping” on my own via functions-php?

I’m not a professional coder, but have some advanced understanding of how WP is working, e.g. about how to create child-theme and how to apply custom PHP, JS or CSS code.

    Kind regards,
    Sascha

    Hi, you’re welcome.
Unfortunately I cannot confirm it will be released soon and if via premium subscription or also on the free version, but it is for sure on the to-do list.

    Hi,

it seems that “WP Fusion” is providing this functionality (among many other integrations) in their commercial “Personal” plan, but the price seems overkill, unless you need to connect multiple plugins with external CRMs.

I think, this gap can be closed with a lower priced “premium” plan on your end, like 30-50 € / year for the connection between BuddyBoss/BuddyPress with custom user-fields and helping many admins.

Will keep an eye on the development of “BuddyPress to WordPress Full Sync” 🙂

    Thanks
    Sascha

Thanks for your suggestion, I didn’t know WP Fusion.
