• After I have pushed the publish button on my mobile, to adjust the settings (add tags, assign a category etc.), there is no publish button to get back to. This happens only on mobile devices, on pc it functions well, as before. Anywone knows how to fix this?

  • Could you share some screenshots of the areas you’re talking to? This will help everyone to understand exactly which parts you’re talking about.

Thanks for commenting! I would have, but it seems to me that the only way to insert an image here is with url?

No. You can also insert image using default block.

I don’t know if this works. In the upper image you see the blue publish button. After having pushed that button to get to the settings (as seen in the last image), there is no way to get back to the publish button. Earler there was a cross in the new window to cross it out and get back to the first window, but now I don’t see this option. I hope this explanation can be understood.

Sorry, it seems the only way to submit screenshots is through Imgur and they don’t allow email registration – and the Facebook registration link doesn’t work. Too bad that an answer in this forum depends on guidance in “how to ask the question”.

Update your software, clear the cache, try a different browser, use desktop mode, check for theme or plugin conflicts, and consider using the WordPress app for mobile devices. These steps should help you restore the missing “Publish” button on your mobile device.

    Hi @vkjohansen,

Could you check if the Publish button appears when you tap and pull down the page?

To enhance your mobile experience, we recommend using the WordPress mobile app rather than a browser. Have you had a chance to try it?

Thanks for your message, @alinclamba! If I understand you right, nothing changes by tapping and pulling down the page. However, the mobile app was a pleasant surprise. I will try it some more. But I already see that, apart from fixing the issue with the lost publish button, it has also at least a couple of advantages to the browser or the desktop version (on mobile phone).
