jQuery, Jetpack conflict, and other issues

I’m a Happiness Engineer with Autmattic and I help out with WordPress.com, Jetpack, and WooCommerce issues.

We noticed some issues with your plugin on WordPress.com and elsewhere.

First, it appears to conflict with the Jetpack Shortcodes module.

When the Jetpack Shortcode module is active, your plugin’s settings page fails to load in properly and appears to be having jQuery issues.

Additionally, I noticed it generates the following PHP errors.

Regarding the put_contents message, many hosts like WordPress.com use NGINX so .htaccess isn’t available.
