Hi! We have this plugin installed and just noticed that it creates a page at /jobs/, which simply shows our blog page? How can we prevent this page from being created. There’s no actual page in “Pages”

    Hi,

I apologize for the delay in response.

Please note that there are mainly two pages that are created when you activate our plugin. One is the job listing page (standard page) which contains the job listing shortcode ([awsmjobs]) generated by our plugin, and the other is the jobs archive page (www.example.com/jobs) which is a WordPress generated archive page for jobs. Basically, both list the jobs with the same configurations. We have enabled both pages for flexibility and ease of use.

A standard page with a shortcode (Settings > General > Job listing page) allows you to easily configure the job listing page’s content with WordPress editor or other page builders. So if your theme doesn’t support template customizations, then this is the better option for you. So, if you only need the standard page with shortcode added and not the archive pages, you can easily disable the same by checking the ‘Disable the archive page for Job Openings’ option from Job Openings General Settings.
